Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home (TBCH) is a ministry that I have had the pleasure of working with over the last 18 months. Their mission is to share the love of Christ to children and families in crisis. When I heard about the Run for Kids in May, I decided that I wanted to be a fundraising “walker” and take that day to walk alongside the amazing kids here on the Brentwood campus.
Did you know that TBCH was started in 1891 by a group from Nashville First Baptist that had a dream to care for orphans? That dream is still alive 127 years later as TBCH cares for numerous kids across this state. TBCH in Brentwood has several cottages that are filled with loving house parents ready to care for these kids in crisis.
Being involved here on the Brentwood campus has allowed me to meet many of the kids. Each one is special and truly loved by the staff and house parents. My goal of $2,500 would help pay for housing, food, clothing, haircuts, school activities, counseling sessions and so much more. Your donation would allow me to walk alongside these kids and let them know that we all care.
